What exactly do you think would happen if they for some reason felt so worried they reported it? The local police would use his IP and would show up at a posters house? The FBI?

“Sir we heard you made threats on tigerdroppings about another posters wife”

Plenty of people have been banned over the years for making direct threats about posters families and even sexual references towards people’s kids.

Serious question. An anonymous threat on a message board wouldnt shake me. Someone posting my families pictures and mentioning their name would 100% rattle me

If that makes me a pussy or dramatic in the eyes of the hardasses on TD, so be it

And you can find 100s of instances of the FBI and other agencies arresting people for online threats
