re: Question about recruiting pressure on local Kids?

I wasn’t recruited either but have been around a few 4 & 5 star guys that committed to us and elsewhere. The pressure I saw came from almost everywhere. Imagine being 17-18-19 years old and being asked “where are you gonna play?” about 300 times a year. Family and friends typically want to be “in the know” so they tend to overstep some boundaries but I’ve seen texts/tweets/etc from total strangers that would (at least SHOULD) leave most adults completely embarrassed by what they say to recruits that commit elsewhere.
