To be honest I never expected LSU to land this kid. He’s exactly the type of player Saban covets with his size and he’s from BR. We always lose a kid from BR to Bama every year it seems. Some kids just don’t want to go to college the same place they are from and want to have new experiences. I can’t fault him for that part but damn beyond Campbell and Howard he was the guy I wanted most. Jordy was joking about the interview but even he said it sounded like the writing is on the wall. I don’t think it was just because it was early in the morning.

Since the 2017 cycle, we've lost a total of 2 baton rouge guys to Saban. Christopher Allen and Christian Harris - who didn't have a committable offer from LSU.

I hear what you're saying, but how many elite prospects from Tuscaloosa go anywhere but the bad guys?
