ESPN's Maria Taylor Offered Huge Raise

White, brown or black, why is ESPN paying anyone in their current roster $1m a year, let alone $3m? One of my closest friends is a physician in Phx and isn't clearing $3m a year. And America sux?

Maria Taylor is one of the best in the game. I have zero problems with this.
I'm against "diversity for diversity's sake" as much as the next person, but she's paid her dues, done the work and I'm happy for her.

Maria isn't just a pretty face, she's actually a former SEC scholarship athlete, is very good at her job, is more qualified to talk sports on ESPN than 90% of their roster. I think she's earned every bit of any contract she gets. She's probably the only female sports commentator that is actually good at it. The only one that comes to mind, anyway.
