re: Explain the transgender thing to me

There is not a whole month dedicated to transgender people, but people like you would be more than elated if there was, because then you would have something to bitch about. Just face it, people that are moderate or on the non extreme left largely don’t give a shite about if a guy wants to act like a woman, but many people that are conservative are completely obsessed with it. I honestly couldn’t care less if a man wants to pretend to be a woman, and I don’t bring that type of thing up in conversation as a result. Many “conservatives” though, bring it up almost compulsively.
