What's your best example of this?

I don't consider the Merrick Garland deal really a "win a negotiation against democrats" (because it wasn't that at all - although, I accept it's a good example of standing strong to them) so don't say that.

Shutdowns, impeachments, COVID bills, and CRs. You know, big ticket items.

Now, the end results of those may or may not be great for grassroots conservatism but they're great for Mitch and enough GOP senators agree with that and think its great for them too.

Democrats are still complaining about Mitch and say shite like even when he's in the minority, he's still effectively running the Senate.
