Trust fund kids/parental wards until they are 30.... are the biggest SJW's, they have no clue what the rest of the world goes through.

I'd be OK with eliminating "victim" as it relates to slavery, since NO ONE crying about has been an actual slave in this country or even knows someone who has.

"Rule of thumb"?
frickers wouldn't even know what it means in order to get upset if you didn't tell them.

Oppressive Language:

- Killing it
- Take a stab at/Take a shot at
- Trigger warning
- Rule of thumb
- Get off the reservation
- You guys
- Ladies and Gentlemen
- Policeman
- Congressman
- Freshman
- She/He
- African-American (Unless people identify as such)
- Crazy, Insane, Wild
- Lame
- Walk-in
- Generic People of Color
- Tranny, Transexual, F*g, or other slurs for LGBTQ+ people
- Tansgendered
- Long time no see
- No can do
- To get gypped
- To get jewed
- Sold down the river
- Indian giver
- Everything going on right now
- Committed suicide, failed/successful suicide, completed suicide
- Child prostitute, sex with underage person
- Non - consensual sex
- Abusive relationships
- Victim
- Survivor
- Female-identifying
- Male-identifying
- Female-bodied
- Male-bodied
- I’m going to kill myself
- Kill me
- Tribe
- Powow
- Spirit animal
- Disabled person
- Wheelchair bound
- Mentally ill
- Child prostitute, sex with underage person
- Non consensual sex
- Abusive relationships
- Addict
- Homeless person
- Prostitute

AND they leave room for it to grow as you can submit your own form for suggestions of language you think is oppressive.

I suggest liberals just start grunting at each other. That way, they don’t run the risk of offending each other with words and such.

I like how we went from Negro to Black to
African-American to describe a certain group. Now they want us to go back to using Black. I guess in 20 years it will go back to Negro.

Since OP didn’t include it:

quote:

Trigger Warning

quote:

The word “trigger” has connections to guns for many people; we can give the same heads-up using language less connected to violence.

Well, seeing how it’s the most accurate depiction of race over all the rest, that would make sense if people came to their senses, but they’re doing anything but coming to their senses these days. Losing their collective minds is more like it.

Well, it’s an actual color in Spanish for one, and it’s been used throughout time to describe a people without it being rooted in a demeaning connotation, just simply to identify a peoples. It’s the black version of Caucasian

Things like this make me want to rent a van with a loud speaker and circle the campus hollering, "Please do not use the phrase "trigger warning"!

They asked for suggestion to their list. Go add a few of your own. I gave them some suggestions.

I hope I didn't trigger anybody.

Black is an actual color in English

Many do find it demeaning, though.

No, it's not. Caucasian makes no sense. Most white people are not descended from people from the Caucasus region. It would be like using "Assyrian" to describe everyone with dark skin.

And none of that has anything do with it being "an accurate depiction of race." That doesn't even make sense.
