He's taking to the collective assholes who live in the liberal bubble. Those people believe that the existence of leftist riots last year, is a conspiracy theory. They believe that the only violent mobs are white, right wing mobs.
So... his comment is meant to build on the foundation they've already poured.
Isn't it fascinating that so many people live in an alternative reality? Over 300 leftist riots last year, and they are treated as a conspiracy theory by mainstream society.
