bleach or algae killer annually will help prevent it.

Now it'll need to either be snaked out or forced with air or water pressure to clear the blockage.

Edit: but since you are on the northshore, the plumber might want to rip it all out and start over.

The AC guy found a leak in the coils and showed me where the coils are icing over.

He said he could replace the coils but it’ll cost $2k-4k. Or we could just replace both units for $15k-30k.
