I'm ok with Godwin or Jarrett

I'm concerned with Jay Johnson and his lack of ties to this area, he's a west coast guy

By all accounts he doesn't play west coast style and has the personality to recruit anywhere. I think he'd be fine.

Doesn't mean anything anymore. Nationwide recruiting is the norm now, not the exception. Coaching philosophies are adaptable, but the game doesn't change. Recruiting, pitching, and hitting, and judging by his past at San Diego and Arizona, Johnson has done very well.

Lack of ties to the area didn’t hurt Pat Henry, Nick Saban or Skip Bertman.
