What’s the best starting spot for Vail? Lionshead or Vail Village. We will get warmed up on the front side before heading to the bb and bsb. Mainly concerned about crowds as I have routes planned out either way.

Lionshead for sure, two lifts instead of just the one gondola, and you can get on Born Free Express which almost never has a line during the week. Not sure about weekends but both gondolas almost always have a wait.

Last year the the weekend lines for the gondola at vail village were some of the longest I’ve ever seen. I wonder if they will only partially load the gondolas again this year because of covid.

On the other hand the weekday crowds seemed to be lighter than usual. Wonder if the international travel to places like vail will be back to normal this winter or not.
