Stay at the Omni. Eat, drink, walk to room.
Avoid downtown, the food isn’t good enough to venture around for first timers. Plenty of great restaurants north of town. Avalon in Alpharetta is better than Atlantic Station. Downtown Alpharetta also has tons of restaurants and bars, too, with free parking and no chance of being mugged.
If you like zoos and aquariums, do that. We are members and think they are great, but it’s summertime so prepare for crowds. Both have parking decks.
If you like Museums, Tellus is great, but it’s a little bit up 75 in Cartersville.
Don’t waste your time on Stone Mountain.
ifly is walking distance from Truist.

I'd probably go see it just because it won't be allowed to exist for long.
