Sometimes I wonder how many people have actually been to Texas. The rural areas are not much different than Arkansas/Louisiana/Deep South, and the urban areas are quite left leaning. It’s a no brainer that the gun ownership percentage for the state is going to lag behind the south.

well, we're talking about registered guns, right? I've got a safe full of guns that the government isn't aware of, hand me downs, gifts, gun show purchases, etc., probably a fair margin of error in those stats

The eastern third of Texas is as much Southern as Louisiana or Mississippi.

All metro areas will have a different culture, but Texas is gun country. People just don't register everything.

shite, showing Alaska at 61% should show you something is off.
