Am I wrong or does it seem like there aren't many moderates left anymore?

Everything just seems so extreme these days, like either you have to be on one extreme side or the other, it's not a good thing imo.

By moderate I mean people who can see that there are good and bad on both sides of the aisle, people who don't like woke culture or the BLM riots ect. but think also think Q and storming the capitol were bad?

I think the extreme left and the extreme right are both bad for our country.

Does anyone else here consider themselves a moderate?

The moderates are the ones at the cocktail party that intentionally avoid politics and prefer to keep their mouths shut.

You just haven’t realized that you are at war. You’ve been told that your silence is violence, that your moderate ways make you a racist enabler, that if you are white you are the enemy, inherently racist and irredeemable. These are core beliefs of the left, not just the radical left. So much so they want to enshrine them in the education system.

You need to help us.

What do extreme left believe in?

What do extreme right believe in?

What is a moderate, and how do you differentiate between a moderate, extreme left, and extreme right?

I didnt say the republican party was far right, there are far right elements of it like Militias and some aspects of Q just like there are far left aspects of the democrat party like Antifa and some aspects of BLM.

It seems like the far extremes of both sides are becoming more prevelant.

I remember growing up my grandparents and some others actually watching the debates to decide who to vote for, they voted for Clinton, Reagan, Bush Sr, just whoever they thought was the best candidate. Doesnt seem like you see that as much these days.

Extreme views these days are mainstream.

What is the far-right, really? Some angry virgins bitching on a Reddit forum? That crowd of LARPers on Jan 6?

They’re not the ones blocking highways and canceling people and teaching CRT and rioting and pushing open borders etc. That’s the far left and they’re supported by the “moderate” left.

I'm a moderate that thinks Jan 6 was a mostly peaceful protest.

I dont think the moderate left supports the far left, I think rioting and burning stuff as protest is ridiculous and makes the moderate democrats look bad.

Moderate republicans probably think the same about Q and January 6th.

The internet probably makes things look worse than they are, I am probably on the internet too much is the problem. Out in the real world I don't know many people I would consider extremists.

I voted for Biden but there are a lot of republicans I would vote for over someone like AOC or Bernie Sanders.

Bernie seems like a good guy but I am not a socailist, some of his ideas are terrible imo.

if Merrick Garland is "moderate" left then color me surprised.

these frickers want to destroy life as we know it. they're demonizing half the country. basically they want to deliver the US to the Great Resetters who will really wreck life as we know it.

we are indeed at war.

The "far left", seems to be the most visible. When we say,
quote:

moderate democrats

Do we mean people or those that "Represent" in Congress"? Because, I think there might be a difference.

You are not a moderate. You are a leftist that will downplay and outright lie to advance your agenda.

frick you and your concern troll.

Yes, I recognize that was an extreme reaction.

This isn’t the place for moderates.

Moderation doesn’t sell and it surely doesn’t inspire campaign contributions.

It used to win elections, but it’s been trending away from that the last few cycles and that’s the real danger to our experiment.
