When the DoD told Richard "Dick" Marcinko to create SEAL Team 6.
Green Berets don't do the commando raids. They are not even the badasses of the Army. That would be Delta Force.
Delta is made up of the best of the best from across the special force groups.
Green Berets are battlefield warriors. SEAL teams and Delta do the precision raids.
The Night Stalkers (Army) wear red berets and are just as bad arse as the Green Berets.
