I've only played 5, 6 and Judgement (wish there had been more actual crime investigation so hopefully the sequel gets that), but it's kind of like when you've played one, you've played them all, just with a different story in each one and the side-quests get more out there with each version.

I definitely enjoy them and still need to get into Like A Dragon, although I don't know how I'll feel about the turn-based fighting. I'm just a fan of Yakuza story/Japanese crime syndicate history, so these are kind of right up my alley

The transition from action to turn-based was done really well. The only issue with the game is that the very end is kind of a grind. Granted, I love turn-based RPGs and occasionally doing mindless grinding so take that for what it is.

The story is pretty good too. All-in-all it was one of my favorite games in the last couple of years.
