He’s a career .292/367/.380 hitter

That’s a long way from an “easy” .340


He’s fast but he plays an average CF. Doesn’t have great instincts tracking balls. His arm is a zero.

He can be upgraded. But if you trot out a strong lineup he wouldn’t stick out as much.

Putting the whole career together is disingenuous Lester and you know it. He went from hitting 0.275 as a freshman, 0.351 in a shortened 2020 and 0.308 on a leg and a half. The increased productivity is there. A 0.340 projection I think is reasonable based on those numbers. You want to look at every career average of hitters who hit over 0.340 as juniors and seniors? Because I bet theirs is around 0.300 too thanks to less than stellar freshman and Sophomore seasons.
