We talk about our Juneteenth plans around the Kwanzaa tree every year.

My county is almost completely black. To count the white people in the public school, you don’t even need your toes. I never heard about this holiday until everyone else heard about it. If anyone in Virginia celebrated it, it was because someone from Texas started it.

Less of us celebrate Kwanzaa than Juneteenth. Just FYI
