Get the best, quietest ISE you can afford. The Badgers tend to be much louder than the newer evolution models. I think I have a 3/4HP Evolution (silver?) and the only thing that jammed it was when I managed to get a loose metal measuring spoon into it. Thought I killed it, but I was finally able to unjam and hit the built in reset button.
