If we are being fair though, Boulanger coached a third of the games that Robe did and got swept in 3 of the 4 regionals that he made it to. Robe made it to 4 super regionals and hosted 1. He may not have built it completely from the ground up but I wouldn't say that he inherited a program that was in great shape.

No doubt Robe elevated the program. I remember when Boulanger was leaving and was concerned about what would happen, since the program was finally headed in the right direction. Robe was a godsend.

It was pointed in the right direction but nowhere near where he got it. Make no mistake, Ragin Cajun baseball is the program that Robe built.
