North Texas official: Game will be in Tiger Stadium — 5:01 p.m.

They contacted us early this morning and told us that the game would be in Tiger Stadium," said Steven Bartolotta, assistant media relations director at North Texas. "They did not tell us of any changes, so we assume it will still be a 7 p.m. kickoff."

Tiger Stadium seats more than 92,000 fans whereas the Georgia Dome, where the game would be played if moved to Atlanta, seats 71,000. Alleva said the Athletic Department has not yet made a plan regarding whose tickets would be honored and who would be left out if the game were to sell out.

"That's not true. We just sent out a press release saying that we'll make an official announcement on tomorrow," Michael Bonnette, LSU sports information director, said.
TRANSLATION: We were going to announce this tomorrow, but dem evil people from North Texas stole our thunder. We are going to instruct Les Miles to destroy them as retaliation or something because it's not fair that those meanies in Texas didn't let us however our moment of triumph! :( BUT, that being said ... the game is going to be held in Tiger Stadium and we look forward for performing our fans and all of Baton Rouge
