Depending on your denomination, your story is by far the exception. I've been Missionary Baptist all of my life and have never seen anything worth quitting church over. You can conjure up any excuse you want though.

Kind of my thought. The world is full of folks who can come with a zillion stories and excuses for why they don’t attend church. None are going to fly when it come time.
The truth is the only correct answer for the question is this: “I don’t want to go to church.”
But that takes backbone to say and admit because it takes sole ownership on ones self. Excuses are just a way to divert any culpability in the matter.
