re: Watching the Wire for the first time - just finished Season 2

I watched for the first time at beginning of covid. I think S2, at least for me, was frustrating at first because I wanted so bad to have more storylines from S1 continue. I didn’t want all these new characters I wanted it to build on the great foundation of s1. But I thought S2 was a really really good season. Once I was done I appreciated 2 more than when I was in it
