I still think attending college football in person at home games are wayyyy better than in person nfl games.
Visiting college towns are amazing. Visiting Charlotte, Cleveland, Tampa bay are meh.
I go to a lot of our games, and I’m not sure it is better anymore. College games are too long now and are very rarely full for the whole game. The kickoff times to accommodate TV have caused some brutal early season heat. The atmosphere in the stadium much more resembles an NFL game with the piped in noise.
The campus experience is better than a stadium parking lot, but under the new proposed system, the 4 biggest games of a title run are going to be played at neutral sites. True national title contenders probably won’t play a single do-or-die game on campus.
