Tuesday Night NXT Thread: TakeOver In Your House Go Home Edition

This Sunday's NXT TakeOver: In Your House PPV now has a little competition for most of us as some of us will likely be watching game 2 of the LSU/Tennessee Baseball Super Regional that night. Wishn better know his role and shut his damn mouth.

AEW needs the NBA Playoffs to end... like now. After having it's worst viewership number for an episode of Dynamite ever for the Double or Nothing go home episode... it broke its own record for the Double or Nothing fallout episode last week which fell below 500,000 viewers.

These numbers could also be foretelling for the upcoming AEW Rampage show. Tony Khan has said he wants Rampage to be on par with Dynamite and if this is what Dynamite gets in this timeslot, you have to think the expectations of getting regular Dynamite-like numbers (around 900,000 - 1M viewers) for Rampage are now being reassessed.

By the way... congrats to Shingo Takagi for taking the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship off of the greatest champion to have ever lived... Vacant. Takagi surprisingly defeated Kazuchika Okada to win the NJPW's now-richest prize following Will Ospreay's relinquishing of the title due to injury.

The WWE Draft has reportedly been set for August 30th & September 3rd... a full week after SummerSlam.

Eva Marie could have a lackey tagging along with her when she debuts next week... either Mercedes Martinez (again?) or Piper Niven (no need to look her up G... you don't want to see).

It appears WWE has no plans for the foreseeable future to return NXT to its old home of Full Sail University... and instead will make the WWE PC/CWC it's permanent home.

Tuesday Night NXT comes from the Capitol Wrestling Center inside of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla.

Before she can become a 2-time NXT Women's Champion... Ember Moon must first take out the current champion's buddy... so tonight Moon will face Dakota Kai in a battle of who caught the Sasha Banks hair disease the worst.

The Way and The Brand match-up one-on-one as Austin Theory battles with Pat McAfee's pal Oney Lorcan (will McAfee do anything else ever again with Dunne, Lorcan, & Burch or are they now left to their own devices with Pat on Smackdown?)

Hit Row has its first in ring target... a giant bruiser from Belfast... with Isaiah "Swerve" Scott set to take on Killian Dain

And Poppy makes her return to NXT... to sing... or wrestle... or something... who knows. I'm just sure Taya Valk... sorry... Frankie Money will be involved somehow.
