Second this. Easily in my top 5 for food, top all time for service.

Vendue is a popular hotel, but check out Luxury Simplified Retreats on AirBnB and see if they have anything available. We had a great experience going that route. They have some options right around the corner from Vendue

Food that others haven’t mentioned:
I remember Paw Paw having a banging pork chop and Mac and cheese. Might be a good lunch option if your night bookings are full.
Virginia’s on King has a good brunch
Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit is good for an on the go breakfast

Honestly, the food options in that town are so abundant that you’re going to have trouble picking. I could go back for a week just to try all the restaurants I didn’t get to the first time.
