Davis and LeBron have a mountain of time to recouperate.
Would have been better if they went deep into the playoffs
And Schroeder signed that bloody extension

Yeah, I think there is a decent chance the 2022 pick is worse for us than it would have been this year. So I would likely trade it now if there is a GM out there that thinks otherwise and we can get something good for it.
That 2025 pick I would need a haul for though.

I keep seeing this and I can see it from one point of view, but I think this is even better. The shine is off the apple. I think this offseason if there's a vet who is considering taking less to go to the Lakers or sign somewhere else, this finish may push them in the other direction.
If they compete (and yes, wear down their bodies more) further into the playoffs this year, then those same vets might think they are the missing piece to get them over the hump.
I think this makes it apparent that they are not just one piece away.

I like the way it ended up. They were humiliated and in general it feels like there's a changing of the guard in the league with the younger guys stepping up and Brooklyn looking to become the new NBA Big Bad. I'm not saying nobody will want to play for them, but they aren't the draw they once were.
