Nigeria did in 2015-16 for an offensive against Boko Haram. It was the old Executive Outcomes guys mostly. They basically acted as advisors and force multipliers for the Nigerian army. Problem is a lot of those guys are now in their late 50s/early 60s and have basically aged out of the business.
There are rumors that Mozambique has had some help fighting their ISIS affiliate from the Wagner group Russians as well. They're still having problems though, they recaptured it but a few weeks ago they had a coastal town captured and a bunch of contractors on an oil project that were in a hotel were killed. Mostly South Africans and some British.
Congo has a very small Muslim population so the potential for this group to do a lot of damage is more limited but there are a lot of sub Saharan African countries that have a religious mix that makes them a tinder box if a sectarian war ever broke out.
