It's been hilarious watching liberals have to act like they suspected this all along despite doing everything in their power to take the opposite stance
It’s hilarious to look back at their articles “debunking” the lab leak hypothesis back in mid-2020 . Just disgraceful.
Never forget Bret Weinstein, Josh Rogin, Jamie Metzl, et al, who stuck out their necks despite being called cranks for voicing the obvious: that at least the origins of the virus should be questioned and investigated and that the possibility of a lab leak from gain of function research, whether accidental or on purpose, was always on the table.

Outlets are also retconning their articles to make it seem as if they never marked the lab leak hypothesis as "debunked". I remember looking at this Google Search of 2020 lab leak debunk articles and seeing the word "debunked" in the first Washington Post article listed. Someone at WaPo must have realized that this Google list was going around and updated the title retroactively to say "disputed" instead of "debunked" which obviously have two very different connotations.

Sure enough, a Wayback Machine search confirms my suspicion.
