I posted earlier in the week. I think he would be a great choice. He’s recruited well within the conference they play. His teams are solid. You don’t get SEC talent in the Southland. He’s done a really good job there, especially this year.

But there are legitimate power 5 proven coaches that LSU can actually get why would you settle on a Southland Conference coach? Just because he played for LSU?
With your logic why not go get Justin Hill from McNeese? A guy that has actually won the Southland conference and also played for LSU.

his teams are very average tfor the Southland conference. His career conference record there is right at .500. Hiring Blake Dean would be idiotic, and I can't overstate that enough.
