Democrats created that environment. They instigated a lot of white people to hate black people. To view them as evil or lesser. Democrats spread a lot of antiblack propaganda. Making it so that black people believed (rightfully at times) that they would be lynched if they committed any crime against a white person.
What's disappointing is that instead of getting rid of skewed legal systems, we just went the other direction. Modern hate crime laws work in pretty much the same way. Ifa black person attacks a white person for being white, it's not considered a big deal..but if a white person attacks a black person for being black, then that white person is pretty much imprisoned for over a decade.
