Bravo. People see Nadal and Djokovic and think everyone should be able to play 40 shot rallies for five hours. I think we are seeing now that a few freak endurance athletes (possibly assisted by something) can do it, but it's not normal. The sport has some issues. I don't know what can be done.

The top three have been doing it for years... and it’s amazing how Fed doesn’t even seem to sweat during a 5match set... Novak is somewhat the same.... but Rafa is on a different level..... he is sweating his arse off from the first point and just has the ability to just keep going and going.......

Count me in agreement that it is hard to understand how these guys can go 5 sets with the way tennis is being played nowadays....mostly from the baseline but very few neutral / rally shots. These guys are playing long points and just pulverizing the ball on almost every shot. It is so physically demanding to play that way. I know they're professional athletes but still it's hard to understand how they can do that for 5 sets. It is much more physically taxing than most people realize to play power baseline tennis.

Let's just assume for the sake of argument that they are getting "assistance". You think they are the only two who have access to it? Okay.
