AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Thread: Loose Cannon = World Champion Edition

What a busy day in rasslin news...
First off... in case you missed it yesterday... The Miz is out 7-9 months with a torn ACL suffered in the zombie apocalypse lumberjack match on Sunday
Now for today's big news
AEW Dynamite is moving from TNT to TBS starting in January 2022
Now... this is good for several reasons
-TBS is on in more households than TNT
-apparently this should get AEW more money
-being on TBS means no scheduling disputes with the NBA & NHL
That 3rd point is huge and actually shows a vote of confidence in AEW by WarnerMedia as it shows that Warner feels like AEW has a big enough presence that it doesn't want to have to mess with AEW's scheduling or just preempt episodes outright.
AEW's long awaited 2nd TV show "AEW Rampage" will debut on Friday, August 13th on TNT at 9 PM central (immediately after Smackdown goes off air... so no "Friday Night War")... which will also move to TBS in January 2022. It will be a 1 hour long show.
After the move to TBS... TNT will still get some AEW programming as there will be 4 "supercard specials" on TNT during the year. Think of it like the old WCW Clash of Champions shows (which adolescent rt3 thought was awesome af).
It was a red letter day in NXT as a number of people received their walking papers today. The most notable...
-Alexander Wolfe... who just last night lost to Killian Dain and was excommunicated from IMPERIUM
-Vanessa Bourne... who appeared headed for a main roster call-up but instead is now gone
-Jessamyn Duke... 1 of the 4 Horsewomen of MMA (along with Rousey, Baszler, & Marina Shafir [Roderick Strong's wife]) who actually had found a niche on the WWE-backed UpUpDownDown podcast... seriously why did WWE never book MMA 4 Horsewomen vs. WWE 4 Horsewomen when it had the chance
-controversial referee Drake Wuertz (let's just say he was on the red-pilled side of things and was very vocal about it... which rubbed a lot of people backstage the wrong way... the last straw of which was speaking virtually at a city council meeting about anti-COVID vax stuff while wearing WWE gear)
All of the NXT releases have a 30-day no-compete clause which means they can end up elsewhere by the end of June (and you'd have to think Wolfe, Bourne, & Duke will get hired somewhere if they want it)
And on a much lighter note... it looks like "Wild Thing" may actually be here to stay for Jon Moxley's entrance theme... but instead of the original version by The Troggs which played him to the ring last week for the match against Yuji Nagata... he'll have the X Exene Cervenka version which is best known as Ricky Vaughn's walk-out music in Major League.
AEW Dynamite tonight comes from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Fla.
Inner Circle will have an answer to Pinnacle's added Stadium Stampede stipulation that if the Inner Circle loses then the group must break up
"The Best Man" Miro has a thing or 2 to say after winning the AEW TNT (TBS? Turner? Television?) Championship last week... and perhaps a little something for his 1st challenger for that title "The Murderhawk Monster" Lance Archer
Speaking of the aforementioned Jon Moxley... MOX & Eddie Kingston team up to battle The Acclaimed... who should have a fun little rap ready (booty bop cheeks)
Christian faces Evan Bourne... (checks notes)... sorry... Christian Cage battles Matt Sydal
Anthony Ogogo gets to punch Austin Gunn's innards to the outside of his body... right in front of Austin's daddy most likely
The NWA Women's World Championship makes its return to AEW as Serena Deeb defends the title against Red Velvet... who lest you forget comes straight outta ya mama's kitchen
AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida puts her belt on the line against Dr. Britt Baker's BFF... no not Tony Schiavone... Rebel/Reba
The AEW World Tag Team Championship will be decided tonight as the Young Bucks defend against the Varsity Blonds (Brian Pillman, Jr. & Griff Garrison)... and I really hope the new cheerleader for the VB is out there... that being Julia Hart
And with Double or Nothing just a week and a half away... the entire card will be revealed.
Just in case you need to know who the new cheerleader for the Varsity Blonds is... here she is being picked up by an alien
and here she is getting some dental work from the good doctor

I'm partial to this one..
ETA: Wuertz was an idiot for thinking he could say what he did wearing a NXT referee shirt...even for a company co-owned by a Trump cabinet member.
Still not sure what to make of All Friends Wrestling moving amid the turmoil. Do the warring EVPs get separated (leading to different feels for each show)?

considering those reports haven't been corroborated by any actual insiders (like Big Daddy Meltzer or SRS)... I'm going to say that story is bogus and complete fake news
also... the EVPs in question mocking the story on the Twitters

there's a story out now that he walked out of a meeting on inclusion being led by HHH
I'm sure that went over well

Kind of disappointing honestly. Unscripted Violence is a banger.

agreed... I do like Unscripted Violence very much for Mox
however... I do think the Major League version of "Wild Thing" will grow on me as his song
that version certainly fits him better than The Troggs version of "Wild Thing"

Yeah, I think it's pretty much a fait accompli now.
And whoever downvoted, how dare you!Show some respect to the next AEW women's champ.

Wolfe is a free agent on the 16th. His deal ended on the 15th.

I'll get them over to Miz as soon as I can spare them from their work.

I don't think anyone's disputing that
but SD could be a good "lead-in" to Rampage
also... it's not certain that Rampage will stay on Fridays following the move to TBS

The Young Bucks are in the main event?
My goodness...

if only Stone Cold had a son who could team with Pillman, Jr. and we could get a 2nd generation of the Hollywood Blonds

Yea hate these kind of matches. It's obvious who is going over. If only they'd swerve us for a week... even if it's some wonky finish where the Varsity Blondes are champs just for a week then have to relinquish the straps.
