Idk how to quote on mobile. The fights for sure. The racism wasn’t direct, I spoke to one of the people quoted and they said they took that out of context. No stockstill dropped N-bombs, but others maybe. The guys fights were masked as wrestling. One big one occurred on what was called a “Re-Encounter” where we were supposed to “re encounter the cross, and get more pure.” And we were out back fricking each other up. The paint balling was true. I know a guy who shite himself on the Brooklyn bridge on a missions trip because they made them walk across it and thought it funny to not find him a bathroom.
Edit: the fights are a little exaggerated though. They weren’t bloodsport. When someone got a busted lip or nose it was done for the most part. That was avoided because then it leaves marks and would get everyone in trouble. I think a lot happened honestly without the head pastor knowing what was really up.
