He was Essene. Which is why you see condemnation of Pharisees and Sadducees in the Bible. The Essene also gave us the Dead Sea Scrolls which focus more on spirituality and consciousness. They also were against people becoming worldly. With modern Jews being heavily involved in worldly systems such as finance, popular culture, and media, why would anyone still think modern Jews have any relation to Christ?
