re: Will you have your 12 - 15 year old vaccinated for COVID-19?

If I had a kid that age, no, I would not vaccinate them for this. I got it for myself but all the data we have so far for kids and covid doesn’t justify pushing them to vaccinate this age group. The flu is more deadly for this age group and we don’t mask, distance, or make a strong push for vaccines for it so why should we do it for something less serious within this patient population? I actually support the vaccine, particularly in older patients, but I just don’t see the benefit here when it’s been proven that kids don’t even spread it as efficiently as adults.
