100 percent.

He should've cleaned house from day 1 of all DC trash. He should've made "giving power back to the states" his anthem and made most of his hires from states.

His attorney general should've been a Red State AG with no DC experience. His FBI head, the same. And on and on and on.

In defense of Trump, he thought he was getting such an ally in Sessions —
a Senator from a Deep Red State in the Deepest Red region of the country.

Yet Session’s utter unwillingness (or inability as the case may be) to actually fight and expose the utter corruptness of the Swamp only further illustrates the point: every corridor of true political power in this nation is hard-wired to perpetuate the legitimacy of the existing power structure above all other matters.

Jimmy Carter tried that and it was a huge disaster. Someone on the staff has to know how Washington works. But, I agree. He should have gotten rid of a bunch of Obama appointees and those right beneath them. He got bad advice from people that did not have America's interest first but instead, their own self-preservation.
