re: Routinely logging in and out....purpose?

I wasn't clear enough, that's on me. I'm not having that issue, but rather am curious as to what reasons posters intentionally log off, then on, then off, on, etc etc. In other words, what's even the point of logging off after you're done browsing and posting for the day? As opposed to just staying logged on for good?

And I was thinking, I suppose one reason some people log off intermittently is to log back on to an alter account. Turrible!! But other than that.....?
