They were a pioneer. But they are AOL at this point.

I prefer Android TV but we do have a couple of Roku TVs and that's what I've recommended to date for people who want the easiest, no fuss solution.

But this feels like Tivo/AOL type death throes by Roku. People like their devices, and their OS, but they aren't gonna pay Roku for a service, and the Roku channel never took off.
