Wasnt remarkable at Alabama production-wise yet is generally perceived as the iconic Alabama quarterback and college legend, definitely because of his pro career

Roger Staubach

Unremarkable stats at Navy, threw the same amount of INTs as TDs the year he won the Heisman, I don’t deny the man’s greatness at both sports and life but that Heisman was hype-driven, Navy literally campaigned for Roger to win that award the moment that season started, no secret

That’s bullshite...... back in the 60’s NAVY played ALL the big boys.... in today’s game how would you rank a NAVY QB finishing #2 in the country......
