Finley can be a great QB if he has time to throw the football. His main issue last year was that he was not the right QB for LSU's roster and scheme. LSU needed a QB (Max Johnson) that could run for his life because the offensive line played like crap.
I have never seen such love for a player anywhere who played so poorly he was replaced, is an absolute turnover machine, chose to leave on his own after he was clearly beaten out, and is talking about transferring to an SEC Rival in LSU's own Division. Yet some of you are so in love with this guy you bash the players who beat out Finley and have shown to be better players and are going to actually play for LSU.
Many of you make excuses for Finley's poor performance on the field and in the Spring Game and would apparently rather play Finley than players who obviously played better than Finley in game and practice situations.
I suggest that you are not LSU fans but rather fans of TJ Finley. I want to win and pull for LSU to play the best player at every position. TJ is not the best QB at LSU and was at best #3 on the depth chart. Nobody told TJ Finley to leave. He chose to go elsewhere. He is no longer a Tiger so goodbye to TJ Finley.

The frick? People bash Finley on here like crazy.he came in as a Freshman against South Carolina and was phenomenal to the point that people wanted him to play over brennan. Then he beat arkansas . He had 2 bad games and 2 good games .he was about average against bama. It didn't matter who played QB in that game.
I think people just respect someone who was put in after not expecting to play and won us a couple games we desperately needed.everybody wishes chris curry well too. It's not just Finley .
So what if hes going to Auburn? He shouldnt just sit here and ride the bench until his Eligibility is gone. Dude wants to play in the nfl one day and he wont do that here if he doesnt play. Hes got a lot going for him with size and the arm strength. The nfl is gonna pay attention to him because of that and then see what he does with whatever chance and coaching he gets.

Yeah, this whole thing is a stupidity trap.
Finley handled things in a very classy manner, and I wish him the best. The better QB's won, who knows down the road which will be the best...
We all knew someone would transfer. TJ came in behind Max when it comes to situational awareness, but he has plenty of time.
