His on field production. Figured he could go somewhere along the likes of ULL or LaTech and start immediately, get a full year starting under his belt, and then transfer to a bigger Power 5 school

I agree, why? Findley has awesome talent. He just needs, IMO, some good coaching and repetitions.
He was in competition with a player with years of training and two coaches sons.
I hope he goes out of conference so we won't have to face him in a couple of years.
