I bet you couldn't accurately tell everyone a single thing about what happened. The baseball player that called him the N-word repeatedly was dismissed from UGA. Like the incident was posted on UGA fan sites, he didn't make it up. Whether you like it or not it wasn't "fake".
Also the reports of that being the reasoning for the transfer waiver are a completely unconfirmed and denied by his camp but rant on. Fields himself said absolutely nothing publicly on it as far as I know.

I remember the whole thing very well. He used what happened as an excuse. Consider that his sister remained a student at UGA for a long time after Fields weaseled out of his commitment.
Getting called a name (even a racially tinged one) is not good reason for a grown man to go back on his word. This country will continue to suck until people remember that.
