You need to know what type of wetlands you have and how much, and what ratio you would have to mitigate at, you could be buying multiple acres of credits for each acre impacted. Look up a national wetlands inventory map and see what the classification is. More than likely it will cost more to covert it to uplands than the property is worth, so unless you want to keep it wetlands or it's valuable commercial property, it's not going to be worth converting and not very valuable.
