To be fair Cannon was persona non grata for quite a while. Only in his later years was he back in good graces.

Doesn’t change the fact that he was a convicted felon yet none of his stats and records are being cancelled.

I believe Billy Cannon stayed away on his own. He was finally convinced to become involved with the program in his last few years.
