Does the legislature not have subpoena power as part of its oversight roll similar to federal congress?

Plus- in order for any legislative subpoena to issue- the legislating branch in question has to vote. It is literally a legislative act to get a legislative subpoena issued. It has the force of law, can compel behavior and if respondents fail to comply can be enforced by courts and executive branch (cops).

Me thinks Texashorn didn’t pay attention in civics class and doesn’t understand what each branch of government does.
