Can someone explain what 50% handicap is? I know Four ball, but don’t get what the 50% is

Your registered GHIN handicap is 10, then you get 5 strokes in the tournament

I can't help but wonder if Barstool holding this in Lake Charles instead of New Orleans or Baton Rouge is a reflection of the current state of golf courses in the state?

Penn National Gaming owns Barstool and also Lauberge casinos. Pretty sure that’s why they’re having a LC site.

So apparently the App I use to keep my handicap doesn’t offer me a number to use as an official handicap. So I’m assuming I’m screwed?

The course in LC is connected to a casino and is close enough for Houston Baws to make the drive.

What course in NOLA or BR could host an event like this?

Yeah he had said awhile back they wanted to have a golf event there bc of the casino but it fell through initially.

$400 to play in the "tournament" seems like a decent enough price for what it is.

If there is one thing Riggs has done exceptionally well with their golf brand it is this tournament.

My buddy and I were signed up to play last year but they cancelled this site due to LA’s covid restrictions at the time. Can’t make it this year but hopefully we can compete next time if they come back. That Pinehurst championship looked like a lot of fun last year.

I doubt Uclub would host it. Although it would be fun to watch Riggs get murdered by that course
