Early to mid 2000’s has to be the golden era of college football
Offenses were advanced enough to be entertaining, but teams still played defense. Fan interest was pretty high everywhere even in soyboy country. Conference realignment hadn’t ruined most of the traditional rivalries yet. The SEC hadn’t been completely cucked by Saban yet and there was a lot of parody in the sport (especially 2007).
