Are you suggesting to just stop watching TV, or exactly what? I have Direct TV, which I would guess is essentially the same as cable.
It's about 1000 channels of shite I never watch, except Turner Classic, Encore Western, SEC Network, Investigation Discovery, History Channel, Outdoor Channel, ESPN on occasion, and my local channels.
I would be happy to change to something less expensive, as long as it isn't some convoluted bullshite, and I am not relying on internet speed to watch TV. Tell me how.

In an area where there is not good internet, you're pretty much screwed. Mom has Dish, horrible internet and lousy TV, especially if there is any kind of weather.
Maybe it was easier for me to give up most TV altogether than it is for most people. That's sad.
