idk, a lot cheaper for evergreen to declare bankruptcy and form a new company i reckon

The ship carries 8,000 containers...and the ship it self is insured for $180mm

Evergreen is one of the largest and youngest shipping fleets in the industry. They arent going to file bankruptcy over this

They also arent going to pay $1b to be released....they will probably pay somewhere around $500mm though.
